Ready for the next level!
What? Even after our playtest and previews online, you want to know more about what this book offers your characters? Very good! The Player's Handbook 2 introduces five new races (including the gnome) and eight new classes (including the barbarian, druid and the bard) ... but you this you already know, right? Playing a Gnome
In the quiet forest Fairies of the Forest Fairy in the woods in the world, the gnomes live and hidden out of sight from other races. Gnomes dwell in houses dug among the roots of trees, which are easily missed and are cleverly concealed by camouflage and illusion. I am fond of all the mammals that dig burrows and that share their habitats such as badgers, foxes and rabbits, and feel akin to these small animals that share their forests.
Confidentiality is a virtue among the gnomes. They grow up with games based on stealth and silence, in which the winner is the last to be discovered. A gnome adult who draws the attention of a crowd is considered dangerously rude. The gnomic folk heroes are not mighty warriors, but crooks that escape captivity, they play great pranks without getting caught, or stealthily cross the magical guardians. Mislead both the aggression that attention with humor, and protect their thoughts with friendly laughter.
Gnomes also estimate a quick mind and ability to solve every problem with intelligence. They appreciate the witty conversation, especially the rapid exchange of repartee. They are endowed with creativity and resources, even though they have little interest or aptitude for this type of technology in human cities. They have an innate talent for magic and the illusions of love, music, poetry and history.
