Designed by Ensemble Studio , is located in Santiago de Compostela , in a space that can be considered a cross between a private garden and public green area.
The design is most striking is certainly the long wall of stone blocks piled one on how to draw historical ruins of the city, this arrangement ensures the uniqueness of the project and acts as a filter space between the garden and the interior, allowing light to filter in the corridor and creating special effects bright.
The great wall / stone sculpture is composed of blocks of irregular shape and sizes, and has been studied in detail in order to look "natural" and at the same time, not structural.
I think the choice to seek innovation in the types of construction, not only in the form of a building, it's always a winning choice, provided, however, consider the functionality of what is taking place.
